Programme & Academic Structure
- Is the programme a certificate programme or a Master’s programme?
The programme is a Master’s degree programme, not a certificate programme. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants are awarded the MSc (Master of Science) title and an official Master’s Diploma. - What is the language of instruction?
The language of instruction is English. All academic content, theoretical sessions and practical training are delivered in English. - Do I need to provide proof of English proficiency to apply?
No. Applicants are not required to provide a formal English language proficiency certificate as part of the admission process.
However, participants are expected to have a sufficient level of English to follow the academic content and fully benefit from the programme. Assessing their own language proficiency is the responsibility of the applicant. - How many participants are admitted to the programme?
To ensure a high level of academic interaction and maintain the quality of practical training, the programme is limited to 20 participants. - Is a Master’s thesis required?
No. The programme does not require the completion of a traditional Master’s thesis as part of its graduation requirements.
Instead, participants are required to prepare and deliver a case presentation demonstrating their ability to apply the academic and clinical knowledge and skills acquired throughout the programme. - Does the programme include practical training on live patients?
The programme includes a range of workshops, hands-on training sessions and practical activities. However, clinical training on live patients is not conducted as part of the programme.
- Will I be taught by all faculty members throughout the programme?
In line with the academic structure of the programme, teaching is delivered by academic faculty members and expert instructors selected by the University of Siena based on their respective areas of expertise. Participants are taught by the instructors assigned to each module according to the relevant subject area and field of specialisation.
Application & Registration
- Is there a possibility that my application may not be accepted?
Final admission and registration approval is granted by the University of Siena once all required application documents have been submitted in full. Applicants are expected to complete all required documentation and payments accurately and within the specified deadlines to ensure a smooth registration process. - What do I need to do to complete my pre-registration?
To complete your pre-registration, you must submit all required application documents and make the pre-registration payment within the specified deadline. - Do I need to send my application documents by post?
No. Application documents may be submitted by email to basvuru@lindevent.com. Only the signed original of the agreement needs to be sent by post if submission of the wet-ink signed document is required. - What should I do if I do not have a Diploma Supplement?
If you do not have a Diploma Supplement, you should first request one from the university or faculty from which you graduated. Many higher education institutions issue this document within approximately 7–10 business days. If your university is unable to provide the document, you will need to obtain a DOV document through the relevant consulate.
Attendance & Graduation Requirements
- Is attendance at all modules mandatory? Can I still receive my diploma if I miss a module?
The programme requires a minimum attendance rate of 70%.
While attendance at all modules is strongly recommended in order to ensure academic continuity and fully achieve the programme’s intended learning outcomes, meeting the required attendance threshold is one of the fundamental conditions for successful completion of the programme.
Diploma & Academic Recognition
- What qualification will I receive upon graduation?
Participants who successfully complete the programme are awarded the MSc (Master of Science) title and an official Master’s Diploma. - Is the Master’s Diploma recognised in Türkiye?
The diploma is an official Master’s degree awarded by the University of Siena.
Recognition and equivalency procedures for postgraduate degrees obtained abroad in Türkiye are subject to YÖK (Council of Higher Education) regulations and the relevant assessment procedures. - Is the Master’s Diploma recognised in Europe? Can I practise with this diploma?
Academic recognition of a Master’s degree and the legal authorisation to practise a regulated profession are two separate matters.
The Master’s Diploma awarded through this programme is an official postgraduate degree awarded by the University of Siena.
However, graduates wishing to practise dentistry in Europe must separately meet the degree recognition, professional registration and licensing requirements of the country in which they intend to practise.
Accordingly, the Master’s Diploma does not, in itself, grant the right to practise as a dentist in Europe.
Visa & Travel
- Do you provide assistance with the visa application process?
As visa applications are individual procedures, we are not able to intervene directly in the decision-making process or guarantee the outcome of a visa application.
However, we work with visa consultancy firms that have previously provided guidance to our participants. Upon request, we can share their contact details so that you may obtain further information directly, with reference to Lind Event.
In addition, Lind Event provides the necessary academic and official documentation issued by the University of Siena and related to the programme that may be required for your visa application. - What happens if my visa application is refused? Is the programme fee refundable?
Once your registration has been completed, a “Letter of Admission and Invitation” issued in your name by the relevant faculty will be provided to you. This document serves as supporting documentation for your visa application.
However, visa applications are assessed and decided solely by the relevant consular authorities, and therefore visa approval cannot be guaranteed.
The programme is structured over a two-year academic calendar, providing participants with a broad timeframe in which to plan and, where necessary, repeat the visa application process. In the event of a visa refusal, participants may proceed in accordance with the programme’s attendance requirements for the relevant module, or, where legally and procedurally applicable, consider applying through another Schengen country.
Any refund or cancellation will be handled in accordance with the terms and conditions of the signed agreement. - How can I travel to Siena?
Siena can be reached by flying to Rome or Bologna, followed by a connecting train or bus journey to Siena.
Programme Fees & Payment
- What does the programme fee include? Are flights and accommodation included?
The programme fee covers the academic training delivered in Istanbul and Siena.
Return flights to Italy, accommodation and personal travel expenses are not included in the programme fee. - Is there a special discount for group applications?
The programme fee is applied under a standard pricing policy for all participants, and therefore no additional group discount is offered.
However, to facilitate the payment process, different payment options and payment plans are available. Participants may select the payment plan that best suits their needs.
Participant Experience
• 1. When will I meet the other participants?
Once your admission process has been completed, a dedicated WhatsApp communication group will be created for all participants admitted to the programme.
The first in-person gathering takes place during the Opening Weekend, providing participants with their first opportunity to meet the academic team and fellow participants in person.
