CERTIFICATE PROGRAM AGENDA
Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry Certificate Program 2026-2027

This international dental education program enables participants to broaden their clinical perspectives and progress more confidently to professional excellence through an innovative, hands-on approach to learning from experts. At the same time, this programme is customised to meet all the needs of the participants regarding all the training, tips and tricks on the relevant topics, ensuring their competence and development. After the effective lecturing, experiencing the practical experience of the subject described, evaluating the subject with different perspectives, discussing it with live patients and treatment planning provide our participants with many different experiences that they can integrate into their own clinical practice with a brand new vision. Effective lectures, practical experiences, approaches with different perspectives to evaluate the topics, discussions and treatment planning; It provides our participants with many different experiences that they can integrate into their own clinical practice with a brand new vision.

In addition, this program supports the participants in every sense with report writing and case presentations where they can improve themselves academically.

As you can see below, 3 modules of our program, which consists of 6 modules in total, will take place in Istanbul. In this way, it provides a much more accessible convenience, unlike similar programs where all six normally take place at NYU.

Participants who are not proficient in English may write their reports in another language; however, a one-page abstract in English must be included. The report should include references to relevant scientific sources and should be between 15-25 pages in length.

Case Presentations

During the last week at NYU, each participant is obliged to formally present two (2) clinical cases from his/her own practice. The time allocated for each presentation is a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes, followed by discussion with group members and NYU instructors.

Completion of the Program

Participants who successfully fulfil all requirements are awarded a certificate of achievement by the NYU School of Dentistry - Linhart Continuing Dental Education Program. This certificate is not associated with any academic degree, but is an indication of the participant's commitment to professional development. The final decision as to whether all requirements have been met is made by the Associate Dean for Continuing Education.

Dr. Florin Cofar

Program: Design-Driven Dentistry: From Planning to Precision A 2-Day Masterclass on Interdisciplinary Aesthetic Workflow
Venue: Istanbul / Türkiye
Date: June 5-6– 2026
Length of Program: 2 days

Course Abstract:

In this immersive 2-day program, Dr. Florin Cofar presents a complete aesthetic and functional workflow, rooted in design thinking and executed through true interdisciplinary integration.
From initial smile design to clinical execution, participants will explore how photo-based planning, AI-assisted simulations, and a singular design vision can elevate predictability and patient-specific outcomes. The course covers additive vs. subtractive cases, integration of orthodontics, soft tissue and implants, and the power of mockups and facially driven design.
Special emphasis is placed on team collaboration and real-time visual communication using the Smilecloud platform, ensuring consistent treatment vision from the first click to final cementation.

Key Topics Covered:

  • Facially-driven aesthetic planning: from photo to design
  • Additive, subtractive, and hybrid case strategies
  • The power of the in-face mockup: communicating beyond words
  • Monolithic restorations and natural shape transfer
  • Integrating orthodontics, perio, surgery, and prosthetics
  • Smilecloud workflows: design, simulate, share
  • Team dynamics: how to align lab, surgeon, and clinician
  • Real-case deep dives and clinical Q&A
